GENERAL GUIDANCE
The health and safety of every person in our Preschool is our primary concern and we are taking every precaution to prevent potential exposure or spread of COVID-19 within our Facility. We are actively partnering with local health departments and closely following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): CDC Childcare to guide our decisions..
HEALTH, SAFETY AND PREVENTION
LIMITING SCHOOL ACCESS
In addition to enhanced cleaning procedures at our Preschool we feel it is best to limit exposure in our classrooms and building. Following the DFPS we ask that you meet a Staff Member at the door for drop off. We still want our schools to provide you peace of mind and encourage conversations with your teacher and director.
TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS
We are closely monitoring guidance regarding travel and recommendations change rapidly.
POTENTIAL OR CONFIRMED EXPOSURE
Anyone with suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 in their household must remain out of our schools for 14 days and confirmed cases must receive medical clearance to return.
OUR SICK POLICY
If your child becomes ill at school, we will call you immediately and ask that they be picked up as soon as possible.
In general, if you suspect that your child is getting ill or is contagious, keep them at home and consult with your doctor. We will welcome your child back into our school once they are free of symptoms for 24 hours or have a doctor’s note stating that the child can return to school.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO PREVENT THE SPREAD
Practicing frequent hygiene steps and ‘social distancing’ are the best ways to prevent catching or spreading the virus. Examples of we are doing in our Preschool and what you can do to help contain COVID-19.
1. Frequent Hand Washing
2. Scheduled temperature checks throughout the day
3. Cleaning and Sanitize surfaces after each class use
